London-based duo David Cox and Russell Crank are autoKratz. Their highly acclaimed first album Animal came out in 2009 and now they’re back with their sophomore effort later this year. Having done remixes for the likes of La Roux, Alex Gopher, Fischerspooner and Underworld and supported The Prodigy amongst others in between, it’s fair to say that there’s a great deal of anticipation surrounding their second LP.

After their highly acclaimed debut album Animal, autoKratz have returned with a new EP. Signed to the ever-cool French label Kitsuné, the duo may have found their previous release a hard act to follow but I’m pleased to say that David Cox and Russell Crank’s ability to crank out class electro-house numbers remains undiminished.
The title track is exactly what you want from a vocal house track. It’s rare that an electronic artist can produce and sing as well as David Cox and something that sets the London duo apart from the crowd. It’s. The other preview we have – ‘Made of Glue’ – is closer to your standard four-to-the-floor electro banger, complete with the repeating lyric “I’ll stick to you”, which seems appropriate.
The EP will be out early next year in anticipation of the release of their second long-player in March. Stay tuned.
