Wild Beasts – Smother

Wild Beasts have announced that the brilliant, Mercury Prize nominated Two Dancers will be followed by Smother to be released by Domino on May 9th.

Recording took place during late 2010 in a remote part of North Wales with previous collaborator Richard Formby overseeing proceedings.

The Kendal lads have also announced a number of dates around the time of the much anticipated 3rd album release:

To whet our collective whistles, todays announcement of Smother is marked by a suitably poetic and dramatic looking little 20 second trailer clip. Check it out below – I’m sure you’ll all be able to glean plenty from a 20 second clip of a full length album!
